Things are looking up againRVC-530 booming in at 0600UT with full
ID for the three stations, on the R8 and N. Flag.but also coming
in pretty well on the ICF2010 barefoot, and even Walt's Kaito KA1103

Certainly the programming does, and there are always the kids who are up

answer was that it was more reliable to keep the local affiliate on 24/7

I am not sure of the connection between KTRO-910 and the FM on 93.1
(Salem Communications) in Portland. Entercom had 910 and why they are
relaying the KTRO 93.1 is beyond me, unless Entercom sold the 910 outlet
to Salem. The 1390 station in Salem (city) (old KSLM) is now KKSN, the

the antenna farm of Radio Veritas in Pampanga (Philippines). I now
wish I'd stopped in and asked for a tour. Too late smart and too soon

Listened briefly around 1230-40, then again 1325-1335UT. Things
seemed to be improving somewhat, though actually fewer with decent
audio, but there more interesting "almost audios" and weak
audios. All below are "best strength".
reasonable audios (though often battling w/splash): 774, 828, 1
Only one TP with audio today and that was JOAK-594 heard at 1215 UT. Carriers
heard were 558, 594, 648, 828, 873, 972, 1053 and 1566 heard from 1205-1310.

With the gradually declining solar indices the TP carriers (at least

The little radio station that I wrote about in my
poem did make it all the way to Victoria but just
barely. It was the summer of 1980 when I first heard
it and they played a specialized kind of rock music
sort of like the modern rock of today but then from
the time period of those days.Is too bad
