That's my point. Salem paid BIG BUCKs for the C1 that they Downgraded -- to C3
and moved to Portland. All of the new Low Band FM channels would be clear
and could be moved. If a company -- Like New Northwest could tranfer all of
their Daytime AM stations over to a new FM band --- even if

take the time to make a list of AM stations -- that do still serve the local

100 stations. The value in selling stations is there, but selling ads
isn't.

The only time I have heard of a daytimer making money are in small
markets when they are the only gane in town. But that is not the case in
todays World as every wide spot in the road has an 24 hr FM station to
compete.

Just one problem...under the Bid4Spots model, you can't bid for specific
times or specific stations. All you can specify is a certain demographic
in a certain market at a certain cost per thousand. I'm not even sure
you can buy overnights specifically!
