Hi
KTBA in Tuba City, Arizona has moved from 1050 to 760. The signal is much
weaker here in Prescott Valley than it was when it was on 1050.

Don't get caught with egg on your face.
I'm hearing an evangelical (religious, Christian) station on 580 groundwave
all day long.
It goes to SRN on the hour, but the usual station announcements are at
lower modulation
than the SRN feed.
The usual suspects, WKSK, WGAG, WHB and WGAC don't seem to fit the profile;

While doing a brief daytime band scan I noticed that KCKX, 1460 Stayton, OR,
ex. Cowboy Country, is now SS:REL with Radio Onda de Gozo. I think this
translates to Radio Wave of Joy. Full ID was Radio Onda de Gozo Catorce

Kevin - Can you hear them during the day? Will be interesting to see
if I can get them in SCW when we return in Dec (I could only hear the
1050 outlet occasionally at sunset).. - John

Dan,
Thanks for the update. I heard SS on there the other evening before LSS,
but I thought it must be Santa Rosa. But I just tuned in and yes, I
heard the Rel mx in SS.

Listened from 1200-1230 ut. 648 had very faint audio, instrumental music.
Carriers on 738 and 774, both were level 5 carriers. Scanned the splits and
those three were the best.. Nothing on 1116. Sunrise is around 1230 ut here.
Working on the EWE, will have it in the SW direction Sundaty

Like Don Kaskey, I'm hearing a Spanish language station on 1550 kHz. Been

of maybe five hours. No ID on the station I hear only occasionally, and
definitely nothing that would indicate any station testing. The

After 0800 UTC, I heard a good signal from KPUA-670, plus weak audio on

IBOC hash from 1050 (KTCT). Another 6 weeks things will be picking up.

Dennis,
Yes, these antennas need a bit of TLC at times. The ground rods I have
added has helped quite a bit. I was out looking at the WNW EWE and I am
still going to raise it a bit more. Right now it is 21X55X21. I would
like to get it up to 25-30 feet and see what difference it will make.
But I

for a local, but
