I did call in and got on the air, for 3 minutes. No, I never mentioned IBOC,
not enough time and to many other important thing to talk about.
HOWEVER, I did get to talk for 22 minutes with the host, AFTER, the show
went off
Tried for the 2 Japanese stations heard by Bruce Conti in NH yesterday.
Monitored 747 774 from 0953-1038 UTC with no luck. I'm not surprised of
course - just a little disappointed :-(

Not a bad morning, not nothing like yesterday. I did hear my 4th Thai
station. This time on 1026 khz that topped the channel at 1421 briefly.
Sounded // to 1467 which was also back in, but weaker. It did not sound
//891 though. By 1424, DZAR had taen over the channel with a minister in
Tagalog.
Listened from 1235-1430 ut. Conditions really pick up about 1/2 hour before
sunrise. Upper channels were poor earlier, but really picked up as sunrse
approached. A lot of noise on the long-wave band this morning.
153 Russia, 1338 weak with woman in Russian.

Snohomish to Oregon City is 230 miles, which is PLENTY of seperation for
this.
And uh, why pick 1520? Probably because it's one of the few, if only
frequencies that could work to fit a worthwhile applcation! The signal will
cover Evertt and North Seattle/Bellvue just fine.

Yep...it's surprising what even a mini-BOG can do. This is the antenna you
should use for your Alaska 750 attempts and especially now while cx are very
good ! If this antenna gives a near complete kill of WSB, all the better and
by 6 or 6:30 AM the LA's should's be mostly faded. 73 KAZ

A clear deterioration with only a handful of weak hets across the band and weak
or no audio on the usual 1215. It wasn't half bad while it lasted! The TP
