KVAN puts in a heafty good signal here on the coast, often making
Bakersfield totally unlistenable at night. Heard days too. For 900
watts directional NE at night, they sure get out well in in other
directions too! The pattern must not be all that tight.
They do have a nice Jazz format.

Listened from 1430-1515 utc. Two upper channels big-guns with
much improved signals on 1566 & 1575. Thailand 1575
had the strongest signal on the MW band.

Listened from 1350-1420 utc and conditions were down from yesterday. Like the
last few days all audio and carriers were on the bottom part of the band.
