At 1:52 AM Central on Tuesday March 3rd, 2009 I was spinning the AM Dial and
coming out of a commercial break and PSA stopset, I heard references The
Saturday night country show at 7pm on GX 94 in a station promo and then it
was into music.
This is CJGX 940 Yorkton, Saskatchewan!

Hey Paul:
It is indeed Saskatchewan, which booms in here every night in Washington

Bert and Group;
I saw two FM Talking House transmitters at a Goodwill, last Fall for $6
each. They both contained a cassette deck and used a continious loop
cassette. They also had a line in. I think that they are both gone,
now.
Bert - suggestion, ask local realtors if they have a spare to
Hi Everyone:
There was an interesting piece on the BBC news website this morning about
pirate radio in the UK. I've always known pirate radio existed there as I have
heard them, from the UK unfortunately, but I never realised there were so many.
According to this article, as many as 150 are
Kevin,
Considering what I caught CBC Radio 1 with, yeah.. it's pretty good!
My friend in Billings, MT says he gets it during the day! When I was in
Williston, ND it was like a local ALL DAY!

pretty darn good audio (at least briefly):

reasonable audio at times during the period (though

Hi Guys:
I was tuning around last night when I went to bed and heard what I
think may have been one of the Boston Area Pirates on my Barefoot SONY
SRF-T615 ULR!!! Just wondering if anyone else may have heard this?
May have been Radio Top Inter...which I believe is the Creole/Haitian
This is most likely a pirate from Boston, MA.. so you won't exactly get an
ID out of them or have any idea exactly what power they're running for sure

For the past several months (perhaps for more than a year now) WTOR-770 has
been leaving their carrier on all night after sign-off. Their open carrier
is seriously hammering WABC from my location in mid-town Toronto. In
particular, I like to listen to Imus in the morning before WTOR signs on,
Email WTOR's owner, Sima Birach.. s...@birach.com and see where that gets
you.

Mike, I think you should complain to WABC. WABC might not care that much
about us Canadians listening to them, but they probably do care about
people in central and upstate New York who listen to them, and if WTOR
is on all night, they'll be interfering with WABC's signal in New York
State as
