Was only able to do some timed recordings this morning due to an early start in
data gathering. Yes, NHK2 is again signing off at 1500UT now, at least on
weekdays, and HLAZ-1566 can be heard here if one tunes in at 1230UT for the
beginning of the Japanese broadcast, with both FEBC and HLAZ IDs.
I didn't see many TP logs for this morning, even though this was one of
my best mornings (possibly the best morning) of the season.
Here are the highlights.
657 N KOREA, weak KK talk 1235
693 JAPAN, EE lessons fair 1247
729 UNID female talk weak 1250
747 JAPAN EE lessons fair-poor //774/69
Thanks Mike. KICY is quite common here in the Fall/Winter/Spring along
with KNOM. Right now, not doing a lot of DXing because of a horrible
arcing with the powerlines about a mile down the road. Pacific Power
knows about it and will repair it soon I am told. I took one of their
guys down to the ar

A couple of weeks ago this would have rated as an outstanding morning,
but now, it's merely "interesting".
Nothing at all from the DUs today, but a fair bit of TP action. Had
audio from the following::
China 981, 1044, 1206
Japan 567, 594, 693, 747, 774, 828, 873, 1188, 1242, 1287

Hi, Dan!
I certainly remember the WXHL DX test, which took place in the early
morning hours of 3/39/04. I remember the internet QSL, too-- very nice! (I was
not the WI DXer who sent the audio clip)
I would definitely be interested in/listening for the October/November
test, if you do it. It

Had a little over an hour, last night (Thursday September 10) to DX.
Thursday is not a traditional HSFB night, though tonight is. Not
accusing any station of anything but did note some monster signals from
stations that I would not think that I would hear under normal night
power (and only one had
