That's a really GOOD day here out east Bill! ;-) And it wouldn't be at 1421utc either -- subtract about 3 or 4 hours. Today saw a return of some weak 'traces' ... as I call the ghostly vertical lines that fall from the top of a Perseus waterfall graph. 945 & 873 were the 'best' with some brief

Correct me if I'm wrong but just because a station is authorized night power, does that mean that they have to use it? WGNR 1470 Anderson, IN is authorized 35 watts at night but I have heard them sign off before LSS. I guess having that flexibility might be good. In JD's defense, Lee's logbook h

Thanks Bert - I was 100% sure it was them too - and I have counted stations upon hearing less but I just *had* to hear the ID. :) That is the only EE that I have heard, other than a snippet of a Beatles song. Again they just shut down the 1040 transmitter in mid sentence at signoff - I think beca

I dont think Atlanta "Radio Korea" is on any other stations ni the amrket. technically, there's nothing saying they have to do anything but shut the transmitter off. YOURE SUPPOSED to do a legal id at sign on and sign off, but that rule is seemingly never enforced. I know plenty of stations who cu
