930 //95.5 with Delilah and soft rock format in northeast. I'm hearing 930 ID
as 95.5, often with Delilah. I'm suspecting either Johnstown NY or Bloomsburg
PA but haven't a clue. Nothing listed on the delialh site that makes any
immediate sense to me. Heard in both Toronto on my Prison radio
Im banking on it being WIZR 930 Johnstown, NY.. owner Pamal Broadcasting
turned the AM signal back on just to keep the license warm, and it'd been
caught on all night before at, most likely, full power. Its likely a
simulcast of WJYB B95.5 Albany, NY

The past two weeks have been very interesting in the X-Band. This
past Tuesday (the 16th) I was hearing (presumed) CHHA with Spanish (?)
language --- on peaks at 1400 local. If not CHHA, ?Quien es? It's
interesting what can be logged on SSS while driving C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y!

Just received in the mail today a QSL from WMBI 1140 Chicago IL. This was
sent in November 1999, and I sent no follow-up. The CE says he is retiring
and cleaning out old files. He had held my letter until he got new QSLs
printed, but then lost track.
The letter was received at my old
Last night I was hearing a WA State HAR station on 1610.I think the
call was WPQV569, and the woman mentioned reporting weather information
for I-82 between Yakima and Bellevue, and I heard a mention of
conditions at the summit of Snoqualmie Pass.
Obviously a single TIS cannot cover the
I got a chuckle on the long lost QSL. I wonder if I lost any by not staying
put forever in one place. Out of curiosity, did Radio Sweden say anything
about the correctness of your report while telling you that they don't do
QSLs anymore?

Nigel,
I think I may have the Yakima one QSL'd. They do have multiple
transmitters, but I believe they do have different calls. I remember the
several they had in Olympia, all seemed have different calls. I sounds
like you had at least two different ones on 1610, one in Yakima and the
other in
