Great to hear that they were logged in Calgary AND in Illinois. I hope all the
ultralight DXers are logging KEVT wherever they may be. ms

I didn't check until the last hour, and caught the KEVT sweep tones right
after 0700 utc, then morse code and sweep tones, poor under strong SS KTBK,
on N/S wire. (KHAT dominant and strong on E/W wire.)

Excellent that they are being heard in Idaho as well!! Midnight Pacific time,

Tried for it here in Seattle. Semi-local KTBK Auburn WA isn't all that
strong here considering the distance, so I had a reasonable shot at
KEVT. I may have had a few sweep tones at 0600 but it was more likely
power of suggestion or part of a song. There was talk from 1-2 other
stations but
I have no idea what I heard then, there was nothing really identifiable, I
just know I heard spanish music of some kind.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to try for the test Sunday night, I'll be
in bed, I get up at 4:45 am for work on the weekdays.

Folks,
After the new IRCA Editor-in-Chief takes over, I am going to try to put
together
an updated IRCA Slogans List.
As many of you know, the current list is dated August 2009... I hope to have
something out by the end of 2010.
So... if any of you hears a new slogan, please let me know,

When testing my new Split Delta Flag last night with the null to the east, CKDO

DX test from KEVT 1210 Sahuarita AZ, which according to Paul Lotsof is about to
close down, go out of business so the CE would be running 10 kW non-direxional

sweep tones, helpful for DX IDing on the hourtops, July

UNIDENTIFIED. 1580, KOKB Blackwell OK cooperated again this Saturday by
deleting modulation, but keeping carrier on to muscle aside the local noise
level, which was rather severe, so I strain to hear the Spanish station
underneath. There it is again, July
