Hello All,
All the reports of TA activity in the east and midwest made me scramble for
my ICF-2010 spotting receiver, in hopes of hearing the new season's first
TA audio (six of them were heard here last season). Scanning the band
eagerly, I noticed that the usual suspects on 675, 693, 756
Hello Walt,
Your Rose Spit DXing adventure with Vlad sounds very inspiring, and I hope
that your future Perseus DU downloads will bring some you serious
compensation for the pounding wind and shaking truck! Once you and your
DXpedition
team get set up and reporting, we will all be eager
While some friends are enjoying the exotic DX possible in Masset I'm stuck here
at home in Alexandria, VA. Last night saw pretty decent TA reception so I left
the Perseus recording across the 0300 utc TOH and caught my first logging of
VOA Sao Tome on 1530kHz with Yankee Doodle under WCKY!
Did have a very slight het, very briefly, on my south-north wire here at
Burnt River, but nowhere close to audio on 738. I was actually hoping for
Japan, but no other hets whatsoever.

Hello All,
Asiatic TP conditions were average at best this morning here, but as
usual there were a couple of bright exceptions. The Russian-slanted
propagation of the past two days was gone-- the Japanese NHK regulars were
holding
down their frequencies, but the other Asian big

Hi Saul,
You probably had a real TP heterodyne on 738 at the same time I had the
fake TA audio on the frequency :-)
French audio from 738-Tahiti had never been received here previously
during our local evening, and was only received once here during our sunrise TP
peak (in August of

and south-north wire.
