Really late on this one, and the next morning's TPs are already coming in (16
Dec 1340UT). In fact, might be worth turning on the radio if you're reading
this in the west; things like 1053 and 1044 have been heard already, although
the big JJ guns aren't that strong.
Anyway, back to history.
Listened from 1410-1425 utc and the only audio was from JOUB-774 at 1417 utc
and it was just above the noise level for 1 minute and than it was gone. Weak
carriers on 594, 693 and 774.

You're right; that "image" can actually be produced by two station's signals
mixing...although that usually happens when they're both strong signals.
Interestingly, the mix can be happening external to your receiver. (One
station's signal can be introduced into the other station's transmitter a

Just had very sharp, clear musical chimes, 2034 seems odd, then a language
