Hey Rob;
Congrats on the retirement and Stanton, KY! I logged them as a new
station (overall) back in November. Maybe they improved their station?
IIRC, they do not appear to ID as much as you would think for a local /
mom and pop station.

Don,
I checked my QSLs and I have two from
NH, WGIR-610 and WTSN-1270. Both were from 1965, from Seward AK. But,
never heard since. It helped being over 1000 miles from the nearest
stations on those channels.

Hi All:
My Michigan log shows I used to hear WFEA often after midnight in the late
'60s, and WTSN was common on 1270 at local sunset. Here in Ohio I've logged
WKBR-1250 and WGIR-610 as well as WDER-1320. But the best signal I ever heard
from NH was when I logged, in Port Huron, the former
Evidently WTSN still gets out as that's my one and only NH log, made

The only NH station I had in my MI log was WHEB-750. Only heard once. And
they sent a nice QSL card back in the 1970's.

Nigel,
That is a great catch in 2010!!! Maybe 1420 might be possible, if AK
are 00 and Chicago is booming in...I wonder if there will be any tones
