be about number ten in the 50 KW Dept for the Puget Sound with 710, 770,
820, 880, 950, 1000, 1090, 1300, 1380, and now 1520. Then add in the

KGY 1240 is a regular on groundwave here. Fair signal days
KWG I got QSL'd back in the late 60s when they were Top 40. I have a
local on 1230 and I don't hear Stockton as often. In the old days KVAS
(then) was not 24 hours.
I well remember another 3 call letter station for years in Spoka
Yes KWG is good.
I just got a current sticker in the mail from them.

If you listen to KTTO, just cough when they do an ID...it will sound just
like KWG. Same goes for the old KYA. It also is Sacred Heart radio.
Original programming is a thing of the past unless you're a college station.

I'll miss KKOV/KKAD too. I have KIXI & KSHO, plus KBRD, but KKOV has the
best signal easily listenable on the car radio.

My grandfather was a card-carrying member of the Keep Growing Wiser Order of
the Hootowls in the 1920s. That was a listener club that KGW ran back then.

channels, or smaller stations? (Smaller meaning less daytime power, also could
include ones with nighttime flea power or daytime only stations, just not any
that have high daytime power like 50kW.) I know of 1230 KXO in E
