Got up a little earlier than usual. Long-waves continue to improve. Not much
improvement on MW.
153 Russia Radio Rossii 1227-1233 fair signal, up to good at 1233. Jazz
music followed by men choir music.
164 Mongolia Mongolyn Radio 1244-1248 very weak with music. Gone by the
High static at the start but that eventually went away. LWBC Mongolia on
both 164 and 209 today, fading in and out, not at the same time. 164 best at
1226 utc; 209 with martial music then into man with presumed news at 1230
utc, both signals very poor to poor. LWBC Radio Rossii not so good
Hello All,
This morning must have been an unusually good one for Australian
signals out on the coast, since some extremely rare DU audio was heard
even in this landlocked location (and the first audio ever from an
Australian station here).
It seemed like another mediocre TP morning around 1310
Your new location is beginning to look like a winner
Dennis. Mongolia x2 is pretty nice.
Here, MW was also anemic from 1300 to 1315UT, weak audio at times on
774, 972, 1287 and 1566 was all I could hear.
best wishes,
Nick

peak duirng a weather forecast at 1205, and then a couple of 4BC IDs.
Also heard the first audio of the season on 891. Rather weak, but

Co-owned daytimers WVLZ-1180 Knoxville TN and WKCE-1120 Maryville TN are again
on at night with HS football games. They're actually running ads in the
newspapers plugging their weekly coverage on both stations, listing dates and
teams through early December.

Don't confuse WVLZ-1180 with daytimer WZQZ Trion GA; they're also on with HS FB

Earlier at the dials this evening. As always, 1215 was the first to
show a carrier at 0308UT, and has faded to quite good levels in the

high band carriers popping up since then, with the second best being

Here in Alberta things are definitely down from last night.1215
is the strongest, but not at the level of last night. Only other
carriers noted on a quick scan were on 1116, 1206, and 1377.

At 0359UT, brief bits of audio on both 1215 (mx) and 1089 (talk), but
if anything, signals have faded down since then.
