They've even been heard in little old Victoria, using a westerly
corner fed antenna, but not this season...

The most interesting morning of the last week, at least. The upper
channels were once better than the lower today, with the area about 1500

signal that did much, with the big guns on 747 and 774 only reaching

OK, playing with the phaser, KPWX was strongly audible until 00:35 UTC
(4:35 pm local). CKWX was nulled out completely. I then heard dead air,
followed by a KRDU ID at fair/good level...this is a religious station in
Dinuba, CA which is located in north-east CA near Fresno.

Oops, using old information. Mt. Angel is, of course, KPWXWalt

Listening at the moment (23:45 UTC) but battling with far stronger CKWX.
I'm having to use my Misek Phaser to good effect, mostly nulling CKWX. At
times KTRP is well heard. It is Russian, and seems to be of religious
nature at the moment (Protestant rather than Orthodox). I'll keep an ear
open

It was a strange morning here with no audio from JOUB 774 or JOBB
828, just level 4 carriers. HLAZ and VOA on upper channels both had
good signals with HLAZ being heard on the eton e100 outside barefoot.
153 RUSSIA, Radio Rossii 1458 fair signal with music.

Stephen, my two cents worth on a couple of things I noticed from your first
video:
++ If your goal was KSL:
1. You probably could have favored KSL against KCBQ by dialing to 1158 or
so...still within the KSL bandwidth but farther away from the 1170
sidebands. I'm sure you've done that.
2.
Conditions was up over yersterday and it was all on the high part of the band
with carriers on 1548, 1557, 1566, 1575 and 1593 with audio from HLAZ-1566.
And for the first time in many weeks the best conditions was at local sunrise.

My friend in Europe heard the KOA 25 mHz feeder today. Has anyone received a
QSL from them lately and have a verie signer or other info they can share to
help him get his QSL? Thanks and 73,

Somewhere, I still have some 35mm color slides of the WQAM and WIOD towers
circa 1964. Also a couple of others further North, including WGTO-540 when it
was at Cypress gardens. I might have to dig them out...
