I recently purchased the Tecsun pl 390 from Amazon. The best way I can
describe its sensitivity and selectivity on both am and FM is that it

Listened from 1315-1425 UTC and like the last few days all action was on the
top part of the band. Only a very weak carrier on 279 but on the top part of
the band was a very different story with carriers on 1548, 1557, 1566, 1575,
1584 and 1593. Audio was heard from HLAZ-1566 and CNR1-1593.
A wee bit better compared to yesterday. SF 145 A 2 K (12:00) 1. No space
weather. Listened from 14:45 and still listening at 15:07 as I type this.
Nick's DX Fishbarrel has very little activity showing. I'm getting
threshold (6 to 7) audio on 1557, 1566, 1575 and 1593 again today. 1566 is

Very similar to yesterday here in Alberta. Japan's 693 was the
only one to reach audio today, and just barely, but otherwise all the
strongest carriers were on the upper end of the band.1566, 1575,
1593, and 1602 all had strong carriers, but never quite made audio.

Thanks for the reply. I've read good things about the 310 and I remember a
few years ago when everyone was talking about. I put it on the list, but I
guess it's up to Santa. I was also wondering though, if anything needed to be
added to the list or if anything on there needed to be dropped
