I had a few extra minutes this evening to listen around a bit to the
presunrise boost recorded at 1508UT. I'm even more certain that the

well. 1287 sounded quite messy with two stations, 1224 had music

Dave,
I salvaged several old radios from my late in-laws. After I dithered for
awhile, I put them up on ebay with decent results. The best price came from one
that had the chassis transplanted to a "lovingly home done" cabinet (it was

1090 ran oldies right through the TOH. Audio also seemed to cut in and out

940 also south, Solid Gospel format. No idea which of the three...
Sorry, for the OT nature (though this thing did get DX at one time). I
recently rescued a Silvertone 5 band, 7 tube (AFAIK) console radio from my
late mother's basement. The bad thing is, the cabinet is a total pig. The
veneer is peeling, in most areas and one of the base boards fell off.

Maybe. A K=4 suggests that unless it was an isolated blip, the A will go
higher. It's hard to tell what it will do at this point. Normally an
A=10 wouldn't mean Au cx. But since I expect it may go higher, then that
could happen.
Last week's disturbance was both weak and short.
