stations heard along with four Russian Radio Rossii stations. The MW band turn
up JOUB 774 in with woman singing for the only MW TP with audio at this time.
Hoping the good conditions made it back to you fellows East of
I wonder if there will be a call letter change when the sale is complete.
According to the FCC AM Query, after signing on with the calls WJVA in 1998,
this station has changed calls six times, including twice to WHLY and twice to
WDND.

Hearing someone here under WHO w/a variety of music -- Marvin Gaye's "Sexual
Healing" at 1850 ELT, Natalie Cole's "This Will Be" at 1855, then the Judds'
"Love Can Build a Bridge" after that. Doesn't sound like KCBR's format.
Anybody else hearing this?

Late December isn't exactly peak season for TP reception, even in the best of
solar years. For you to be receiving any TP audio at all in Oklahoma on your
Ultralight radio in December is pretty amazing-- and something that apparently
has never been reported by anybody (even the late J
Listened this morning from 1401-1600 utc. Sunrise really helped the upper
channel stations this morning. HLAZ 1566 had a good signal just before 1600
utc. Last year to date receptions, long wave stations were better in 2011 and
MW this year was much better than 12/20/2011. Last years reception
There was barely audible music and speech heard on 774
kHz at 1326-1333. Also a trace of a signal, but no audio
on 1566 kHz at 1334-1338. No other signal received.
It was the first reception of JOUB in several weeks.
