I wasn't listening in last night, Dave, but The Ticket is their slogan, so
that WAS KOLM that you had. They've been notorious for running day power at
night in recent months. Might be the best chance (other than WCCO or KSTP) for
DXers living over 1500 miles away to get Minnesota.

Congratulations Walt,
Your reception (and verification) of KRVN-880 during your Cook Islands vacation
probably sets a new DX distance record for that form of hot-rodded Ultralight
radio. The development of the Eton E100 Slider model (with Murata CFJ455K5 IF
filter) was a joint effort by John,

It was Christmas Eve at Santa's Place, and all thorough out the house
low and high in height, Santa was not DX'ing at all tonight.
He winced at getting up from his listening chair, but he knew Christmas
deliveries were in the air.
As he donned his final suit, he exclaimed
Wow, now that's something. 5760 miles, or 9270 km according to one source.
Lot's of fun, that's for sure. I should have given John and Guy credit as
well! Thanks, Guy and John (always fondly remembered!). Merry Christmas,
everyone.Walt Salmaniw, Victoria, BC

OK, another distance tool on line states 6714 miles/10804 km (
www.geobytes.com), and yet another 5750 mi/9253 km. Go figure! Walt.
