Hello To All,
Finland on 963 khz has been noticeably stronger here in the Hope as well the
past week or so. It has been one of the earliest audible signals of the
afternoon along with France on 1377 sometimes showing up just after the noon
hour.

While you guys are getting TAs on the West Coast, I've just heard my
first Indian at 01:32 UTC on 1071 Khz. I have been waiting at this one

transmitter sunrise.
The only drawback is that their sound was muffled/distorted. A
When I got out on the road a little later, away from WASB (whose red antenna
light I can see from my house), WWKB was on the air, but at what appeared to
be much reduced strength. This was confirmed around 1:15 PM when I began to
hear someone toggling between the weak signal to a stronger one.
Great DX. I have not seen India reported in sometime. The last time I
heard it was at least 10 years ago (1566). I got 864 Shillong back in
1992. But that is a toughie from NA. Here in the West Coast, I have
gotten it 1500-1700 UTC in the Winter. Congrats.

Check the Newfoundland and Haida Gwaii logs. Newfoundland: In 2010, 40
Indian frequencies were logged, and in 2009 34. From Haida Gwaii, I
recall 684 and 1566.
