Very nice reception of 963 at 06:02. Darn, but I missed the TOH for an ID.
Singing by a female. Language unknown. Are we all certain that it is
Finland? I see that it should be Radio 86 in Lithuanian. Style of the
music, I suppose, matches. 1215 is also present, but really comes and
goes. P
Guy,
I always get more excited when I see an outstanding catch from someone's
backyard. I know many catches would never be logged here, but the OR/WA
coasts have pulled in a lot of very rare catches.
I think I remember, now that you mentioned it, your tentative logging
of 864 on the WA Coast.
I'm hearing guitar strumming on 963 right now at 03:56 UTC. Still, not up
to par with yesterday, but reasonably impressive nonetheless! Hope it

KFKA 1310 is ripping up WIBA here in IL on my W/WNW antenna. I can get them in
well during the best SSS cx, but nothing like this ever noted at night. I
suspect that they didn't switch to night rig. Since building an endfire array

Subject: [IRCA] WMOV 1360 Format Change
Hi All:
WMOV, 1360, WV, Rave
I had to head to work well before sunrise, but left things running
when I left this morning. Given the TA reception of late, I left the
antenna looking north rather than west. Not a lot of audio, but
heard 2 signals on 1575, one quite good at times, and bits of audio on

The new format came about in the mid to late Summer of last year when a new
operator took over via an lease agreement and was presumably going to
purchase it.

appears to have dropped all other talk programming & running satellite oldies

Am testing out a new antenna to try and beat the huge QRN issue -
So far successful -
Early signs indicate a wispy carrier on 1215 --
nothing noted on 1575 as of yet --

Hi Patrick,
If I recall, your 1992 logging of 864 Shillong (leading to your prized QSL)
was in September, correct? It was less than a month after that I had a
"what else could it be?" probable logging on 864 while on a solo DXpedition
to Midway Beach (just a half mile south of Grayland).

Yes, I realize that India has been logged from NFD and the Queen

the NW, India is very rare. But the early 90s were amazing with logs
