Aha, we had some enhancement this morning, seemed spaced throughout the band,
not huge, building steam by 1445UT, but mostly done by 1500UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least
briefly):

talking about Happy Valley and area. I have not caught the call letters
as yet. I don't know how long this has been here, but I believe this is

from the hotel he managed in Union Square, San Francisco during the 1970's.

Hello All,
Asian results here were similar to Dennis' report, with fair audio from a
couple of Korean big guns around the 1500 TOH. 594-JOAK (poor), 747-JOIB
(poor), 828-JOBB (poor), 972-HLCA (fair), 1566-HLAZ (fair) and 1575-VOA (poor)
all managed to reach audio during peak sunrise enhanceme
Listened from 1325-1502 utc.
153 RUSSIA, Komosomolsk, Radio Rossii 1335-1338 fair signal with Judy
Garland singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" followed by other American
musicals. NW ewe. 02/20/2013

The Sangean ATS-909 receiver has been sold.
I still have the Select A Tenna model #541 receive loop. It's a 10 as far as
operation and a 9 as far as appearance. The face is perfect but the back has
a few white paint marks that can be buffed off. It outperforms my Tescun
AN-200 by 6 db.
