Extensive news coverage over here on BBC television. I just cannot image the
terror of those school kids as the tornado hit their town. I understand they
had just a 16 minute warning.
Best wishes

Thoughts and prayers are with everybody in Moore OK. I watched the live feed on
both KWTV 9 and KFOR 4 in Oklahoma City for hours. The 4 towers (assumed AM
640) were clearly visible and still standing very close to the path of the
tornado. I hope there are no more storms today that will hinder
Reportedly, there's debris stuck IN the towers or on the towers of KOKC

Listening to KBLP 105.1 Lindsay, OK.. a 6000 Watt FM about 30 miles south

because of severe thunderstorms and rain that came through this
Only audio here today was from 738, otherwise, the carriers heard

pretty much all under 1100kHz. No longwave today either.

Yes, maybe is what I like to see posted. We can determine a groundwave area
fairly well, but skywave varies in intensity different areas are favored on
different nights. I think we can get skywave from at least as close as 30
miles, as I can hear some fading on KSTP-1500 at night, even though
Maybe they're on daytime power/pattern due to severe weather in their listening
area ...
Still lots of storm watches/warnings popping up all through the midwest.
