I happened to get up early at my DX cottage in Masset (northern BC) and
initially found things to be quite dead, but at dawn and post-dawn, there
was a very welcome enhancement involving the upper band, and especially the
X-band. Propagation was all DU. There was audio on many channels,

...or TP's? The enhancement that Walt mentioned on the upper band was
also quite obvious here in Michigan this morning during my local
sunrise. Between 0945-1005 UTC I noted several moderate to strong
carriers on the following channels: 1017, 1026, 1035, 1089, 1098, 1116,
1206, 1224, 1305, 1314,

I still chase an unID Spanish mx stn on 1300 most like somewhere to my east,
based on what comes in on the east array. I have never had a single
announcement, there's no break or ID near ToH, etc. If they do say anything it
must always be during a fade. On 1300 on the array, WOOD is dominant,
Nick, dawn was around 5:00 AM, so I hadn't needed to wake up so early. On
