Just stumbled onto someone playing
I listened from 1139 until 1237, and not a trace of a TP signal was detected.
It wasn't as silent here during the recent solar events. It was a very unusual
morning.
Receiver: Tecsun PL-310 with 7.5-inch ferrite stick combined with 7-inch FSL.

As Richard said, an unusual morning. A quick check at 1200 showed
nothing but DU carriers, with traces of audio from presumed 4BC on 1116.
At 1300 it was much the same, with 612 and 792 being very close to
audio but not quite making it. Still not a trace of a TP. Then about
1325
Unfortunately got to my Perseus only after 14:00, at which time, I too had
1575 (along with a carrier just below 1575) at fairly good levels. This
continued to 1575 with VOA programming. I'm happy to report that having
spent a couple of hours yesterday afternoon, I was able to locate a couple

Nigel is certainly correct that this was a very unusual morning. At 1320 a
quick check of the band (on a modified ICF-2010 spotting receiver) revealed the
Asians to be in full clunker mode, with only a few wispy carriers from big gun
TP's like 774-JOUB and 972-HLCA. Figuring that
