There was no sign of TP DX until 1224 when 774 JOUB faded in with an English
lesson. It was the only station received this morning, not fading out until
1301 (LSR 1252). The signal strength was fair at 1254 to 1257. There was a
trace of the signal heard until 1308.

I wonder if they 'notarize' QSLs too?

Hello All,
As Colin and Richard have already reported, Asian signals took quite a nosedive
this morning, with decent audio limited to a few big gun TP's here. The band
started out at 1300 in a mediocre state, and generally stayed there throughout
a lackluster sunrise enhancement until

Maybe not possible in the way it was widely heard back then, but maybe as a
viral you tube posting.

I forget where I heard the story this week, but the gist was this:
newspapers were choked at the revenues that (this new-fangled medium) radio
was stealing from it, so they (newspapers) overblew the levels of hysteria
in their reporting, in order to show radio in a bad light.
The wiki article

Kaz, thanks for the tip. Far from tremendous here, I had to work the
channel to pull something out, but finally found a clear ad for Great
Plains Power in Golden, CO. @ 0122 UTC on my 0100-0130 UTC recording
earlier tonight. I suppose this is probably KHNC then.

Thanks to Kaz's tip, I logged it too, at 2100 CDT with the Double Kaz aligned
to the west. It was coming in well here with only slight QRM from KSCJ.

The likelihood of hearing this over the
Atlantic/Arctic might be pretty slim (geomagnetic
conditions plus low power), but at least they're
broadcasting at times where it might be possible (from MW Circle):

If yesterday was a big step up, today was just as big a step down.
Only the Japanese on 594, 693, and 828 delivered any TP audio today,
and it was rather anemic. Otherwise carriers from the regular TPs,
along with a batch of DU carriers. One of the DUs, ABC on 702, managed
