What a great Christmas gift if KXOL would return to their original first 10
years of rock n roll format. They always had a good signal here into Southern

2 minutes and will give you the world? Nope, two minutes and 2 new ULR
logs! I had two minutes just after midnight Eastern, and was rewarded with
two new loggins to the ultralight logbook. I was surprised by Frederick,
MD but that was actually a relog to the overall logbook.

I attended a Christmas party with former co-workers at a restaurant
north of Boston today (18 DEC) and during my drive back and forth I
noted a station with jazz music on 1410. The station did not identify
at the top of the hour (e.g. 11 a.m.) but finally around 11:10 a.m. a

New stations have been rare this season, but I actually got two
over the past week. First KBCV from MO on 1570 (which has opened up
now CKMW is gone), and then KKTS from WY on 1580. Not sure how long

Anyway, the signal strength recorder suggested that 747 972 1287 1566

Nigel,
Good going on KBCV 1570. They mix here with XERF often. I wish XERF would not
have boosted to 100KW. When they were 18KW for years and after CHUB and CKTA
moved to FM, the frequency was wide open here logging FL, and others. But XERF
really creates an issue with their boost. But at
I'm hearing Mexican/Latin music on 1620, behind Rebelde.
Possibly La Que Buena, a mexican pirate in South-East PA - (Kennett

But I'm really unsure. I haven't been able to match what might be the
station's livestream:
You didn't miss much Nick. My SDR recording showed mediocre audio on
1566 and a few bits of mumbling on 747. There may have been audio
elsewhere, but I lost interest after checking those two frequencies.
