You didn't miss much Nick. My SDR recording showed mediocre audio on
1566 and a few bits of mumbling on 747. There may have been audio
elsewhere, but I lost interest after checking those two frequencies.

Good going on KBCV 1570. They mix here with XERF often. I wish XERF would not
have boosted to 100KW. When they were 18KW for years and after CHUB and CKTA
moved to FM, the frequency was wide open here logging FL, and others. But XERF
really creates an issue with their boost. But at least

I could tell from the signal strength recorder. I had to leave the
house quite early today, so no real-time checking was possible.
Anyway, the signal strength recorder suggested that 747 972 1287 1566
and 1593 may have ha
New stations have been rare this season, but I actually got two
over the past week. First KBCV from MO on 1570 (which has opened up
now CKMW is gone), and then KKTS from WY on 1580. Not sure how long
they've been on the air, as I can't claim to have done much in the way
of domestic DXi

I attended a Christmas party with former co-workers at a restaurant
north of Boston today (18 DEC) and during my drive back and forth I
noted a station with jazz music on 1410. The station did not identify
at the top of the hour (e.g. 11 a.m.) but finally around 11:10 a.m. a
male announcer ID'

logs! I had two minutes just after midnight Eastern, and was rewarded with
two new loggins to the ultralight logbook. I was surprised by Frederick,
MD but that was actually a relog to the overall logbook.
