Michigan? I tried for many years back in the day to log WCFL 1000 here in CA

Not particularly good before 1500UTand not particularly good
after 1500UT. A tiny lift after about 1525UT, but that was it.

I was just reading some words by Charlie Tuna regarding Larry. I posted a brief

W-L-S C-H-I-C-A-G-O! To a boy growing up in a small factory town in
Tennessee, WLS represented everything cool in the world. Bright lights,
big city, and rock and roll music. And the conductor of this wonderful
circus was Larry Lujak.
Man, wasn't Top 40 radio great? He was missed on the air,
Chicago lost a radio legend yesterday with the passing of
Radio Hall of Famer, Superjock Larry Lujak. His is

On the west-null cardioid pattern antenna I run here, CHCM Marystown,
Newfoundland dominates 740 at night quite often as the antenna reduces
co-channel CFZM Toronto which would typically dominate on other
antennas. CHCM was formerly known as CBNM when it relayed CBC-network
640 CBN St. John's.
Great report, Mark, but what's NL? I don't think you meant Newfoundland,
which, AFAIK, is NF and could well be what you meant. I thought NL was Nuevo
Laredo (Mexico), which must be 2000 miles away. Is that what you _really_
meant? Really?

I'll look for this although I have a problem with a 1060/560 mixing spur as I'm
within 5 miles of both transmitters.
Also there are two or three Cubans there at any given time, sometimes two
