XEKAM 950 in Tijuana Mexico added
XEKAM and the former XEGM have always been listed in the local newspapers as
stations that serve the L.A. area (along with 690 in Tijuana and 1090 in
Rosarito). I'm not sure if that has anything to do with whether a Mexican

I am pretty sure that KDLG 670 Dillingham, Alaska is IBOC.
Around 2007 or so they put in a new 10,000 Watt transmitter that was
HD/IBOC capable. Why you ask? They got a trant and it had to be for an HD
transmitter and it was use it or lose it.
Now, just because they have it, doesnt mean it's
Listened from 1516-1535 utc. Conditions down from yesterday. No long waves
heard.
594 JAPAN, Tokyo, JOAK NHK1 1519 poor signal with woman in Japanese for a few

603 REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Namyang, 1528 with weak signal with music. Sky wire
loop. 01/02/2014
The problem with FM IBOC is the power. It is currently 1% of analog. Some
stations will be able to increase power, but a lot will not be able to.
BTW this is also a problem with HDTV, not enough power.

Just replaced my aging Wellbrook ALA-1530 loop (which has been sitting

arrived safely from the UK, but I'm remembering that mounting this

Les,
I assumed that you may have had a mounting kit already for the ALA1530!
I will put one in the post on Monday Jan 6th.
