Just like others have reported, it was a change of pace today,
with the lower band taking the spotlight for once. All that really
meant in terms of audio was good signals from Japan on 693 and 774, and

It was an interesting morning here. Reception was reasonably good up
and down the dial today. The lower part of the dial was the best it had
been in quite a while, with very good signals on 693 and 774. The upper
part of the dial was not as impressive but there were a few catches to

FYI, KLEB 1600 used to simulcast with KLRZ 100.3 LaRose as "The Ragin
Cajun".. but the AM side is now alone with the music, the FM is doing ESPN
sports... in case anyone logs this station.
But they are easy to ID, play tons of cajun music and ID as "The Ragin

I need some help with an unID heard last Sunday night on 1040 kHz. The station
is in SS and I have never heard an SS station on 1040 before. If you are

Barry McLarnon in ON suggests my 910 with two IDs, the second in
particular sounding like WIMC and part of a disclaimer for the paid
programming that follows, is WBZU Scranton PA. The call mentioned is
co-owned WILK. He's spot on - I can hear that fairly distinctly. It's
common here.

Hello All,
The low band Asians had one of their best sessions of the year so far this
morning, with the Asian mainland stations unusually vibrant.
As the session began at 1435 both 558-HLQH and its parallel 603-HLSA were at a
fair level, with HLSA going on an S9 romp around 1450 (joined b
