Hello All,
The one week "Cliffhanger" DXpedition to Rockwork 4 (south of Cannon Beach, OR)
kicked off this morning with a bang as several Kiwi stations pounded in at huge
levels. The 400' (122m) sheer ocean side cliff usually has a preference for New
Zealand sign
I wonder what kind of antennas they're using. A quarter wavelength on 470
kHz (my wavelength conversion spreadsheet is in MHz and won't do three
decimal places) is 523.23 feet.

The Kiwis were on an absolute rampage here this morning, completely shutting
out Australia on all frequencies. The star of the morning was 702-Radio Live (a
station apparently yet to be heard at Grayland), pounding into the Rockwork 4
cliff at 1238 like it owned
