Congrats Saul!
Here I have three 1710's tonight
Saul,
Nice catch from your location. W807 Geo Research Rock Radio claims
30 watts output from a Cunningham transmitter. They have been operating
mostly full time on 1710 for at least a couple of years now and are
heard frequently here fading in and out at night. I'm surprised other

Antioch is a very very very far north exurb from Chicago - it's not a pirate
station, it's a Part 15 station. Really comprehensive OTR programming. See
ABN (Antioch broadcasting network) and macinmind.com.
If anyone can pick up a Part 15 from 100 miles or more, mazl tov - I can't

Hello,
I read the info about the test late, so I tuned in about 0530 or so. I heard
the sweep tones under another station much like you did, but my dominant
station was a beautiful music station. I was able to mostly phase it out, but
still had a spanish station like in your recording and a

I found traces of this on some evening recordings on my south antenna for the
last couple of days. It is very poor and I need peaks to hear it. I presume I
am in between a good skip zone and too far for groundwave at 35 miles. 73 KAZ

Hello All,
The Asians were almost completely comatose here this morning, slipping backward
even from yesterday's miserable propagation.
Whereas two high band TP's managed fair audio briefly yesterday, there was no
Asian audio at all this morning, and almost no Asian carriers either. A

I listened for about two hours this morning, suspecting I was
wasting my time. Stations from south of the border were much
stronger than usual. It continues to be a very frustrating season
thus far. Hopefully tomorrow!

Richard,
This Asian season is by far the weakest since our Ultralight radio group was
formed in late 2007. There have been about 3 or 4 good days when second-tier
stations like 603-HLSA, 657-Pyongyang and 738-BEL2 have had strong audio here
in Puyallup, but for the most part it has been a

I get rescued a bit by Aussies here. The other thing to note is that
Asiatic frequencies 774, 972 etc. were delivering strong carriers at

Almost a total shutout here today. The only TP audio was a very
