It could be KTCT-1050, which runs I-Block. IBOC. It's licensed for 10 kW at night but gets to run its 50 kW day power and pattern at night to overcome major cheater XED in Mexicali. It has had an STA for this since 1999. There are a number of similar STAs in Florida to overcome Cuban cheaters.

Using my Sangean ATS909X in Redding, CA I'm getting what I think is HD Hash on 1040. It appears weak and I'm not hearing it on 1020, 1030, or 1050. When I turn my radio to try and null things or get a better signal, it seems like the hash favors a direction somewhere between north and east of me.
