WXKS out of the Boston area usually dominates 1200 kHz here, but last night, for about 45
minutes, it lost out to another station I was unable to identify. The station was playing
modern black gospel music. At 7 PM EST, it had the "Big Brother CJ Show," but I
never heard a station I.d. I search

I don't see evening programming on the schedule on the web site of WMIR SC, but
it's the only black gospel station listed on 1200, and I have heard it a couple
of times up in Ontario during auroral cx. Might be worth calling them.

I checked WCHB online at the time, but they were playing jazz, not
gospel. I will contact WMIR and keep my fingers crossed. It will be a

Perhaps you caught it before local sunset...you can find the time online for
that of course so you'll know if it was legitimately on day power. Nice catch.
