Not exactly a bonanza of audio today, but about what I've come to expect.
567 was the most curious frequency, as for the second day it was one of the
better signals, even managing faint audio today. More carriers today,
with 792 and 1548 close to audio.

Yet another Asian clunker session presented itself this morning, with all the
meager audio concentrated on the high band. A brief check at 1440 revealed only
wispy audio from 1566-HLAZ, with 1503 and 1575 at threshold levels. 738-Tahiti

audio (talk) at 1309.
JOIB-747 and HLAZ-1566 produced wispy traces of audio at times.

The latest email from Bill Croghan. Doesn't look like a DX test but I'm sure he
would appreciate some reports on their stations (1230, 1340, 1100 are mentioned
but they're also on 920 and 1460).

"Martin,
I remember we toured KENO 1460 at the 1999 IRCA convention. I guess more of
these independent stations are part of a group now which seems to be the trend.
I first logged KLAV around 1973. So glad they have kept those call letters.
KLAS is a local TV station.

A bit of a rebound, mostly just the big guns reappearing, though
sometimes with reasonable strength. Japanese channels were apparent
in the signal strength monitor as early as 1115UT, and although there
was a slight lift around 1500UT, the strongest signals were in the
1330 to 1400UT time
