I recorded the entire band from 1255 to 1540 UTC and it was hardly a
party here. There was a carrier on 1566, and that was about it for the
TPs.

That is weird that the FCC would allow a SW pattern aimed at Tillamook during
the day. It will be interesting to hear any daytime difference here.

Very similar to yesterday here. Signals were down a little bit,
but like yesterday the only audio was from 1566 Korea, 1575 VOA, and
1593 CNR1. The CNR ID at 1500 wasn't quite as good as yesterday, but
still not bad. Once again the low end of the band was completely

I don't know if you missed all that much this morning, Colin.
At 1430 I did a quick band check in the predawn darkness and found only 1593
with a weak carrier. The situation was dreary enough to forego any further
efforts in favor of extra sleep (after working late on an antenna project). Of
Agreed, but I wasn't sure whether it's standard... Argentina and Chile
use eight in Buenos Aires and Santiago but six-digits were apparent in
smaller cities a year or so back.

I think all Brazilian numbers are 8 digits now, and the number below is a
subscriber number (no city code) but is missing a digit.

But isn't that just predicating on accepting '33' as a trunk access/area
code?
A seven-digit number could be in a major urban area, and the station was
just giving a local number without the appropriate area code.
