Just about to send this when I read Nigel's loggings. Talk about
another planet, hi.
Basically things died after about 1400UT here. I had some
recordings from earlier, and indeed there were some old standby
stations, a couple at reasonable level.

My TP DX was amazingly similar to Gary's today.
I had a brief opening at about 1545 UT, highlighted by fair audio on
1575 and marginal audio on 1566.
There were also carriers on 1557, 1593, and 1602, with no sign of any
TPs below 1550.

Like Gary I noted improvement this morning, but I'd go a bit
farther and say quite dramatic improvement. Actually the best morning
here for several weeks. Rather unusual too in that Japan didn't seem to
be a factor. There were so-so carriers on 594, 693, 774 etc. but
nothing approaching

Back in late November I heard a nice clear "AM 560 The Answer, WIND

really hearing?

Earlier this year I sent my R8A to John Kriner for a check up. He did a great
job! He also found and replaced a failed component. My R8A is doing great now.

This last summer the Drake R8 had problems and did not work very well so this
week I sent it to John Kriner in Ohio for repair. The turn around for repair
is 4-6 weeks so for now I will be using the ICOM IC-R75. The R75 is nice but
it is not a Drake R8!

A couple of high band Asians actually managed ghostly audio this morning around
1545 after rising from the dead late in sunrise enhancement. Both 1566 and 1575
hit threshold level for a few minutes each, despite the fact that neither had
even registered a carrier prior to 1515. Not exactly an es

Hi Guys:
Conditions seem to have picked up a bit with the Calendar turning over to
December. Especially this morning with great Conditions to the South West to
the St. Louis area. 3 NEW Stations to report this time around and a bunch of
Lower Powered RELOGS as well.

All barely there if that qualifies - and at the same time, the FB shows the
exact same thing...
Most days I feel that chopping down the trees that hold the antennas would
improve the reception. When I put up the Flag antenna, I thought I could hear
anything at anytime. Now I hear largely nothi
Hi everyone - not much time this morning, but it was all Spain all the time
