Well done!

CKNW is advertising they are now HD. So far I have not detected any IBOC hash
on 970 or 990. The signal off the NE EWE is pretty good, but nothing no noise.
Tonight my local noise is a bit less too. Is anyone getting hash?

Nice job Rick! Not an easy feat at all. Now 2000 and living a little
farther away...maybe in Council Bluffs could be attainable!

Congrats Bill. I remember when Dennis, Dawn, and I visited their tx site with
a longwire in 2008. The coverage around Flagstaff was pretty bad. I figured you
should hear it in time though, as when KVAN 1480 was running that longwire back
in the 70s, I caught it from Seaside, but as you may

I just heard my most wanted Arizona station at 5:26 MST when I heard "Northern
Arizona's Sunny 104.7" so after many years of trying I heard KVNA.. This
station has been using a long wire antenna and does not get out well at all
even in Flagstaff the signal is poor in some parts of town.
It was close, but I managed to hit my target of reaching MW station
#2000 logged (no call changes) before the New Year. Station #2000 turned
out to be KKAN 1490 from Phillipsburg, KS, heard at UTC on the
31st. The first new one of 2016 turned out to be another
graveyarder, 1230
Nice catch! Although I've only been trying for 1.5 years, that's still my
most wanted of the 8 AZ stations I haven't logged. I guess I need to try
harder!

I started my MW logbook from here on 9/13/2010, and by the end of 2011, it was

Indeed Nigel, congratulations! What kind of antenna setup do you have again?

Bill,
I remember during the 2008 Flagstaff IRCA convention which you hosted, we track
down KVNA 600 185' longwire antenna. Some guys at a nearby business thought we
were going to steal the antenna for scrap. All we did was take a bunch of
pictures of it. Great convention.
So are they still using a long wire Bill? Congrats!

Earlier this evening the Kp index was 7.0 for a while so I dashed out again
