What was even more rare -- I was up at that hour -
Wind was blowing and I needed to close a few windows -- and I thought..
while I am up.
3325 khz was an interesting mix of what I think was Indonesia and

As Colin pointed out, this was an Asian morning.also pretty odd
for this time of year. My receptions were long gone by 1200UT; I
think that the peak was about 1140UT here.

I bought this about 9 months ago from accomplished DXer, Walt Salmaniw in
Vancouver.
It works great and has some improved audio filters in it. When I bought it,
I could DX from my kitchen with a longwire in my backyard. My location and
situation has changed, rendering in home DX impossible.

Here's a piece of info - a Google hit and the link does not work. Of course, I
wonder if this is the same SNJ as is carried in Australia. I'd kind of lean
against it - Coast is rather a middle of the roader.
As for why I think SNJ is a Grant thing, I can't remember if I found some thing
This is great Chuck, thanks. I go out to look after a few family
and household things, and when I come back, the job is done.Plus
you pointed out my senior moment with the time conversion, so I
don't even have to work that through either (by finding my fingers
and toes again?).

Why worry about what happens after midnight Australia time?
4CC's web site says they carry Saturday Night Jukebox from 6 PM on. Yes, it
ends at midnight so that covers your 1206 receptions. 4BU shows no Saturday
Night Jukebox at all but as you say they are both Grant Media stations. And
Thanks Theo. It seems possible that 4BU and 4CC (plus relays) could
be carrying same program on weekend overnight as they do during the
week, but 4BU's website seems very unclear as to what happens on
Saturday nights after the witching hour . "Jukebox Saturday Night"
seems to be carried by

Trop BC was interesting with 3325 kHz having an Indonesian and an
English/Pacific Lang both at great strengths at the top of the hour.

Wll, highly unlikely to be the Junior Land Down Under even though
both 1332 and 1584 are owned by the same outfit -- 1332 is R. Sport --
and 1584 is Coast, and it would be upsetting for the Rest Home Radio
folks to be carrying rock rhythms even after midnight local.

I think that's right Kaz, and I'll run a series of measurements as Nick
suggested. Comparative null depth will be easy to measure. The tough part
will be evaluating the AMOUNT OF CORRECTION needed from freq. to
freqeasy to measure with the remote pot, but tougher with the Vactrol.
