This morning, there didn't seem to be a very pronounced Asiatic
opening early on (1100-1400UT), so those have been ignored for today.
There was a lift after 1500UT, but rather than fading as it did
yesterday, it just hung in there until 1530UT, and not as interesting
as yesterday. Mind you,
The audio was all Asian this morning, such as it was. There were
actually a lot of carriers, seemingly both TP and DU, but the majority
were pretty feeble.

There was nothing like Paul's potent Asians on 873 and 1566 here this morning,
but nothing like -18 degree weather, either (an interesting tradeoff). The
Puyallup version of TP-DX was considerably watered down, with a few big guns on
693, 747, 774. 972. 1053 and 1566 managing fair audio from 142
162 France Inter poor at 0219.
189 RÚV Rás 2 barely audible (// internet) at 0201.
252 Algérienne Chaîne 3 poor with French talk at 0213.

I have a Lowe HF225 that I forgot all about, I'll give that a try soon.

The digital display radios I have seem to be ok in the cold, i dont htink
the digital displays have gone wonky.. but the grundig 750 seems to drift..

temperatures; unfortunately they're really common in battery operated

It was a dry session here this morning (LSR 1313). There were traces of
signals on 558, 594, 693, 702, 774, 1053, 1116 and 1566 but nothing audible.
