You're very close to Asia compared to Australia/New Zealand, so no surprise
Furthermore, the powers for DU stations are a fraction of those of many
Asian stations. Walt

Very similar results to Nick. No TP audio of any description, with a
few DU carriers. The only one even approaching audio was 1116.

I had no DU's this morning, just Asians.
It seems my location much favors Asians over DUs
I've NEVER, yet at least, had an Aussie it Kiwi signal as strong as I've
had some Asians

All times were pretty grim this morning. Not only no sunrise
enhancement, not much evidence of anything earlier either...carriers
mainly on a few of the more common DU channels, 612, 702, 738, 756,
1098, 1116.
best wishes,
Nick

1260 was fair to good, not too noisy and sounded like it was running the
same programming as 1242 Tokyo. 1260 audio here:

The noise level was a bit lower today and signals were slightly better but
not by much. Pyongyang 657 and 873 were missing and splatter from 300 mile
distant 660 KFAR would've killed Pyongyang 657 anyways.
1566 HLAZ was much weaker then usual and way fade-y, but I also tuned in a
bit late

how odd...surely such a test, to have any form of validity, should be done
in early July. There is just no comparing propagation paths between July and
December on HF!

I'll try and remember to check for it. Doubt I'll hear it but we'll see

Does your recording of the "beehive" jammer have some of the siren
jammer riding along as well, Chris?
What I've heard here is the basic low grumbling sound with no higher
frequency components such as on your recording (I don't think high
frequency components were heard in PEI either).
Part
"Wipe Out" fits perfectly. There wasn't a trace of anything heard here!

1053 kHz jamming isn't very common here in northern Europe.

As was mentioned in the past, all of you guys in the west coast areas of North

Since this is a station thats been of interest to Dx'ers and come up for
discussion before, I wanted to share this clip individually from a report I
posted last night.
This is about as good as I've ever heard them!
