Walt,
Has it already been 7 years? Where does the time go. He was true friend and I
think about him often. He will never be forgotten.
Thanks for the reminder.

Hi, Paul. WRRL has contracted with Radio Greenbrier to simulcast Hot 95 on
their AM station. With AM transmissions at night, it's no surprise that
it's heard far away. Our sister station WRON-AM 1400, has been known to be

Not much better on the coast at first glance, Richard.
Think of us at the forefront of MW propagation research. Not bad
for old guys listening to an old band...to be at the forefront of
something, hi.

I'm unable to find an official website for WRRL.
http://radiogreenbrier.com/ shows Hot 95 as WRLB-FM. Nothing is shown at
the site for 1130 AM.
Old WRLB slogan was "Power 95.3"

I wouldn't let the fact that some of the possible stations in the mix are
daytimers. Today, that doesn't stop some stations from staying on, either
by accident or by intent.
Someone earlier suggested WRRL in Rainelle WV. There is a nearby FM on 95.3.

Rick,
Thanks for the email. I definitely heard "Hot 95" several times. I

Kraig, I'm starting to think that your unID must've said a word other than
"Hot". In checking the WTFDA database, I see only 4 stations with a "Hot 95"
slogan, none of them are on 95.3, and to complicate matters, none of them are
anywhere close to an 1130, ruling out the possibility of simulcas
Pre-sunrise carrier signals heard on 612 and 702 kHz from DU direction, both
strong at times.
What's going on? There appears to be no correlation between solar activity and
propagation!
