A bit more "normal" morning, with stronger big guns in the 1300-1400UT
period, but lots of carriers still and some weak audios. Nothing too
outstanding at sunrise, but several stations produced audio one to two
hours after local sunrise, in a couple of cases, their best audio of the
morning.

Radio Monte Carlo, 216, and Radio Algerienne, 252, audible here at 0410. Both
have poor-to-fair strength with moderate NDB QRM as well as QRN from lightning.

Didn't look anywhere else.

747 brief trace of a signal (no audio) at 1247, fading away at 1249.
774 JOUB with traces of a signal from 1213 until tune out at 1300; barely
audible talking (unrecognizable) at 1240-1242; QRM from KSPI 780 after 1254;

2/26/2017 0735 - 0800 EST 1340 WHAP Hopewell VA
Good ID and mention of Hopewell and playing religion and music. Basically
all alone on the channel at 420 miles. Using the southwest dkaz antenna
made all the difference, no need to use the quantum phaser. Yesterday at
0805 I logged WEKY in Richmond K
