Much like yesterday in its order of DX, but not as strong nor as
interesting; decided slant towards New Zealand.

As WJR faded out at 0605, it left a very weak jumble on frequency. Nothing
came out. I am going to try my 4' loop attached to me TecsunPL310 and see
how that does tomorrow at sunrise. My 2010s are with Craig getting
modified. Sure wish I had them but it's not meant to be.

Thanks Todd! No idea on KFMB, maybe something's out of whack on their end,
or maybe it's the same propagation that brings in the DU stuff here this
time of year. Whatever it is, they are being heard under WJR every
morning, so it seems worth mentioning to other folks who need them,

This morning had 1034.998 with threshold audio near 1100 UTC TOH but tough
going through WNVR's splatter. Faint music again heard on 1098 near TOH.
Lots of lower band DU carriers again this morning but weaker than the
previous morning. Hopefully you can set up soon to catch some of t
Gary,
Thanks for the suggestions and audio links, much appreciated. My 702 had
very faint music through TOH and then a male announcer after the song ends
at 1101 UTC. Nothing resembling "Magic-- feels good" could be heard in my
very limited and weak clip. There is however a unique sound effect

Hi All:
Guess I didn't make myself clear earlier. Both WNRJ, 103.9 and WHNK, 1450,
Parkersburg, WV, are owned by Fellowship Baptist Church of Vienna, WV. WNRJ is
gospel music (at least they aren't another noisy, tired rocker), while WHNK is
a preaching station. No more EWTN
I seem to recall that fmscan.org used to provide such things, but the
site seems awfully flaky now, and I can't find any patterns either.

Good stuff Tim. I should soon be set up again to check DU's as well. Re:

Best so far this new season for Japan with 774 rising to decent level
briefly. Many hets but the DU hets never did much, maybe 891 had traces
of audio near sunrise. Expanded band only 1611 with poor het, far from
audio.

Decent conditions again this morning. I listened from 1222 to 1315. Faint audio
was heard from 774, JOUB (presumed) with male and female speaking @1306.
Possible EE lesson. I believe that is their typical programming for that time
of day.

Everything is fine now. I originally tried updating firmware with a SanDisk
USB Drive but I think it was corrupt. Got a new usb drive at my local CVS
and the firmware updated fine and the radio booted up.

Finally a signal was received from Asia! A strong carrier signal (no audio)
