Here is my AM-BCB report for the Last week or so. 7 NEW STNS Logged and a few
Good AURORA Openings as well. The AM BCB seems to be improving quickly this

Hi Brandon,
Thank you for volunteering to do the DXWW-W column in the IRCA newsletter.
I'd have to say I fall into the "don't care" category you mentioned, and
my email list postings are 99% not suited for inclusion in the column,
and I'd suggest to just ignore my postings. On the rare event t
Heya Craig. Many thank for your response! Not asking for language
expertise, etc. Just wondering if the DXWW-W crew is open to helping me
getting the column together in a small way besides what i would call
'bumming quarters', which is what Phil has been doing. Yours is the first
response, hoping o

Hi Brandon,
Welcome and thanks to Phil Bytheway for his work on DXDD-W. I recently retired
and am getting back into the hobby with more fervor than in recent years.
I only recently rejoined IRCA and realized that Phil was "mining" the informal

Heard at 0100 EDT/ 0500 UTC this morning on 1370 kHz, a high pitched
tone at the top of the hour followed by four letters in Morse Code: TRLB
or TRLD (the signal faded on the last letter). I am clueless (as usual).
Anyone have an ID for this station?

Heys folks. As you my or may not know, I volunteered to take on DXWW-W from
Phil who has been doing a fantastic care taker job for a few years. Coming over
from the DXWW-E side, it is amazing the work Phil has been doing to glean your
logs from your posts in the forum and whipping them up into f
Chuck is right, of course. The hiking trails up above the Highway 101 turnouts
are much more risky than our DXing setup spots at Rockwork 4.
I've hiked some of those trails on Mount Neahkahnie (like the one where the
Victoria man fell off of the cliff) and they are far more scary. The problem i
I dare say that I have leaned over more than one precipice during an
attempt to enhance a signal from a far away place.
Daredevils. It's in our blood!

I think there is no danger at all that anyone could ever fall from the walled
turnout. The story of the hiker falling from a dif

Better TP conditions this morning with 1566 S Korea reaching good levels
briefly. I may have to review the recording for any others that reached
audio. Many hets over most of the band. Nothing for expanded band DU
though 1611 almost always has a weak het every morning for awhile.

Slightly improved conditions were noted this morning. JOUB 774 with an EE
lesson had the best audio in a while, with fair audio during pre-sunrise
enhancement. Weaker audio also heard on JOIB, 747.
Asian hets were heard on 594, 693, 972, 828, 1008, 1035, and 1566
