I had to rejoin the list or something like that and it had a link to click

I just check my spam folder and there is a message from

Before I open this up, does anyone know if this a ligit

Let me add my congratulations for your 1296-6RN reception, Nigel.
Even on the coast reception of Western Australia isn't all that common, but Tom
and I were lucky enough to receive both 531-6DL and 558-6WA on the cliff last
month. Receiving one of them in Alberta is phenomenal!

Stunning catch with 6RN on an otherwise lousy morning. Here in IL, not even
trace Aussie audio. V7AB audible 1128 with gal in lang into mx that ended

somewhat earlier. At a level that should've pushed past slop but I don't

I first got up around 1215 UTC, let out the cat, and checked the
radio. Things sounded very dull, and I very nearly went back to bed.
That would have been a big mistake as it turned out. In general things
continued to sound dull, with the Asians (other than HLAZ) vanishing

There's nothing I can say about Paul that hasn't already been said. His

Paul was a great DXer and certainly a hard worker in all the behind-the-scenes
activity that kept DX bulletins going out on time with high quality material in
loggings, technical, broadcast information, and member "musings" that added the

Chris, thanks again for offering your expertise. You've been more than

See below from this time last year. I don't know if the "SAC" beacon
mystery was ever solved on 1650, but recent Sept.12th, 2017 auroral SDR

This was at 0100 UTC but is repeated continuously throughout the whole

Hi all,
Please keep in mind that if you have any recordings of Asian signals that you
want IDed that may have actual IDable information that you cannot decipher, or
recordings of something like what you’re hearing with 1566 Jeju, feel free to
send them along to me. 1566 Yanbian, Pyongyang, and
I only had the privilege of meeting Paul a couple of times, at
conventions, but have to agree with what's been stated already. It was
a pleasure to chat with him, he had a real passion for the hobby, and
his work on projects like the pattern book Glenn mentioned has helped
many of us. Hi
I only met Paul a few times, and both were at the conventions in Rochester
and Batavia, the only MW conventions I've ever attended in all of these
years since 1967 or so. But if I do a name search in my e-mail history I
have hundreds, even thousands, of e-mails from me to Paul, from Paul to me,

I have known Paul for over 30 years, yet I knew that when he laid aside the
hobby not that long ago that his condition had to be serious. He devoted a
significant portion of his life to the hobby and the NRC.

Very sorry to learn of his passing. Had the pleasure of meeting him at last
year`s KC con.
One of his tangible legacies is the AM Station Antenna Pattern Book, an NRC
publication he prepared; I frequently refer to the seventh edition.

Conditions were poor here this morning. My efforts to conduct side by side
testing between the SW Superloop and the new west single KAZ were limited by
poor conditions this morning. I am curious to compare the performance of the
Superloop vs. the KAZ. Both antennas were rou
