Conditions were much improved this morning, especially low band, from
before sunrise and somewhat after sunrise. Several reached decent

Thanks to a mostly-water route, reception is fairly common.
The foreign language station on 1540 is CHIN Toronto, also often heard in MA

This morning's listening session resulted in a DU het on 1611 and Asian hets on
693, 774, 828, 1242, 1386, 1422 and 1566. All hets were pretty weak.

The one and only logging I've ever managed on ZNS-1 was several years back when
they had a DA malfunction and were running non-directional. Even then it was

At 3 p.m. EST (2000 UTC) as I was pulling out of the Market Basket store in
Bourne, MA, I popped up 730 WJTO, a station I regularly tune for Bob Bittner's
unique twist on oldies / nostalgia. Besides some back chatter from WACE's fire

This Jersey Shore WebSDR with FLAG or ALA100 is showing a fair bit of TA
audio AND some loud LW stations already.

Could be Cuba, Mexico, Domestic... 900 B has more Spanish and gets intriguing as
it goes along – trumpet or other horn sounds repeating loop-like over and over.
900 C has more trumpets. The trumpets / horns, in particular
Saul,
I hear a "W Radio" ID in Spanish in your "A" clip, about six seconds in.
Your "D" clip is WKDA, calls are given right after the "Radio Luz" ID. I
wonder if they are the source of the horns in the other clips?

Not quite as bad as yesterday. That's about as far as I'll go in
praise of this morning's session. Weak talk form 1116 4BC at 1326
means it wasn't a total shutout. Quite a number of carriers from the
more common DUs, but no trace of anything Asian.
