The NZ Radio DX League's Bryan Clark located ~100km north of Auckland asks the same question? He had been registering Kiribati's tx slightly offset to the low side of 846, along with someone exactly on 846.00 -- which he presumed to be Newstalk ZB from Masterton/Waingawa down near Wellington.

I would just want to record with my old cassette deck Russ. I may take the radio into a shop in Portland to have it done. I do see a mini jax on the back that has audio in for an MP3 player. That jax should be able to be used. I do not need audio in anyway. Patrick Martin Seaside OR KGED QSL
