Still fairly lively and Asiatic this morning, more carriers perhaps,
and overall audio was not as strong. The NHK big guns didn't really
deliver this morning.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,

Hi Guys:
A very short Report this week, too many things happening here as we approach
Christmas. Plus …..Snow Shovelling/Blowing Season has started here in SW
Ontario…… woke up this morning to over 1 Foot of Snow on the Ground! We're
going to have a White Christmas here for sure!
Not much

True, but they did when I lived around there 27 years ago, the 93.9, so I tend
to think of it as theirs, though one or the other station must have been sold.

Good clean signal? when I heard WCAZ going from Jacksonville to Quincy IL,
they sounded like they were modulating at 200 percent

WCAZ 990 was in well again this morning at their s/on
beginning at 05:58CST and even better around 07:00.
It's ironic how the FCC works. A station can have a
crappy, distorted signal or splatter across the entire
band for days on end when they don't monitor their own on
the air signal. That's OK

Hello
I recall a high powered TX on 1240 from R Nacional Venezuela. I think they
planned an overseas service. I heard it on this side of the pond but do not
what happened to the station. R Maria DR also heard here.
Best wishes

Since I have a 1240 local (WBAS) that is somewhat southerly of here, I won't
have a shot at this unless that station goes off.
Nulling WBAS gets me northerly stations such as WSYY Millinocket, ME.
What I could suggest is monitoring 1240 at various times of day on the Bonair

A big bounce back to one of the better mornings in awhile, though
mostly in signal strength rather than a huge number of signals with
audio. Conditions were quite variable, so there could be rapid
increases in strength over a short time. Bound to have missed a few things.
